Vivo T2 5G Spotted on Google Play Console; Launch Imminent

The Vivo T2 5G was spotted on the Google Play Console, suggesting that the smartphone will be launching soon. The upcoming T-series device will succeed the Vivo T1 which launched in India last year. It is reported that the Vivo T2 will arrive as a mid-range smartphone in global markets including India.

Vivo T2 Appears on Google Play Console

According to a MySmartPrice report, the Vivo T2 appeared on the Google Play Console, offering a glimpse at the phone’s key specifications. The listing shows the Vivo T2 5G bearing model number V2222. Going by the listing, we can expect the smartphone to launch soon in India. However, there’s no word from the company regarding the global launch.

The Google Play Console listing reveals that Vivo T2 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will be accompanied by an Adreno 619 GPU. Last year’s Vivo T1 also featured the same chipset, so there’s no upgrade processor-wise. When it comes to the CPU, the smartphone will feature two ARM Cortex-A78 and six ARM Cortex-A55.

Additionally, the upcoming Vivo T2 will support 8GB of RAM. We can expect the phone to get up to 128GB of internal storage, just like last year’s models.

As for the display, the Vivo T2 will sport a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Additionally, it will feature a 440 dpi screen. Going by the placeholder image shared on the website, the smartphone will have a waterdrop notch at the top for the selfie camera. The smartphone will boot Android 13 which could come with a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top.

Other details about the Vivo T2 5G appear scarce. However, seeing that the smartphone has visited the Google Play Console, we can expect the Vivo T2 to launch soon.
