OnePlus 11R 5G to Receive Four Major Android Updates

OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 11R 5G in India as a slightly cheaper option to the flagship OnePlus 11 5G. The OnePlus 11R features Android 13-based OxygenOS 13. The company has now shared that the smartphone will get four major Android updates.

This update info was revealed by OnePlus Support on Twitter as a reply to a user query. The company said that the OnePlus 11R will get four major Android updates and up to five years of security updates. This will bring it on par with the premium OnePlus 11 5G, which also promises four Android updates.

OnePlus 11R Specifications

The OnePlus 11R is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.

When it comes to imaging, the OnePlus 11R features a 50MP IMX890 camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. The smartphone has a 16MP selfie camera at the front. The device can record up to 4K videos at 60fps.

The OnePlus 11R sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen and a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. The screen supports an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage, and peak brightness of 1450 nits. In addition, the smartphone features an alert slider and in-display fingerprint scanner. The 11R includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos as well as support for Wi-Fi 6.

OnePlus 11R: Price, Availability

The OnePlus 11R 5G is priced at ₹39,999 for the entry-level model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the model with 16GB RAM and 256GB costs ₹44,999. The smartphone is available in two colorways – Galactic Silver and Sonic Black.
