“The #40PercentSarkar seeks to bribe the journalists with ₹1 Lakh money! Will Mr. Bommai answer- 1. Isn’t it “bribe” being supplied by CM? 2. What’s the supply of ₹1,00,000? Has it come from Public Exchequer or from CM himself? 3. Will ED/IT take word?”, Congress normal secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted.

The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee demanded a judicial inquiry into what it referred to as “Chief Minister’s Workplace (CMO) ‘candy field bribe’ to journalists”.

“The individuals of the state ought to understand how a lot cash was given as bribe, how a lot was obtained, how a lot was returned,” it stated.
