The iQOO Neo 7, a smartphone powered by the Dimensity 8200, was recently unveiled by iQOO, a Vivo sub-brand. The latest entrant is jam-packed with features and is poised to be one of the best-performing smartphones under Rs.30,000. Although the Neo 7 packs a punch, its predecessor, the iQOO Neo 6, is still available and ready to give the Neo 7 a run for its money. Which phone is the best overall? Let’s find out.
iQOO Neo 7 vs iQOO Neo 6: Design
The front of both smartphones is made of glass, while the sides and back are made of plastic. They also have a hole-punch cutout in the center of the display and a flat panel.

The iQOO Neo 7 is a few grams heavier than the Neo 6, but the design is very similar, and both phones are slim (~8.5 mm).
The iQOO Neo 7 comes in two color options: Interstellar Black and Frost Blue. The iQOO Neo 6 is also available in two color options: Dark Nova and Cyber Rage.

Both smartphones have a 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification and a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, but the Neo 7 is slightly taller at 6.78 inches versus 6.62 inches for the Neo 6.

The iQOO Neo 7 is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, whereas the iQOO Neo 6 is driven by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.

In short, the Neo 7 is the most recent smartphone on the market, so it will receive the most recent updates faster and will be supported for a longer period than the iQOO Neo 6. Furthermore, performance and optimization improvements for the Neo 7 may be in the works, allowing it to eventually supplant the Neo 6.

As shown in the video, if you want to take photos with the primary camera, the iQOO Neo 7 with its 64MP lens is the better choice, but if you want an all-arounder phone with useful sensors like an ultrawide sensor, the iQOO Neo 6 will suffice.

The iQOO Neo 7 has a 5,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the 4,700mAh cell found in the Neo 6. Furthermore, the Neo 7 supports 120W wired charging, which is faster than the Neo 6’s 80W wired charging.

As previously stated, the Neo 7 is the most recent smartphone that will be supported for a longer period than the Neo 6. Furthermore, the former’s primary camera is superior to the latter. Finally, the Neo 7 has a larger battery with faster charging.
The iQOO Neo 6 gets points for its useful ultrawide sensor, better macro shots, and the Snapdragon 870 still packing a punch.
