iQOO Neo 7 5G Specs, India Pricing Leaked Before Launch: 120Hz AMOLED Dimensity 8200 SoC Tipped

iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO Neo 7 5G Android smartphone. The Vivo’s sub-brand has scheduled an event next week in India. However, before the official arrival of the Android phone, the key specifications, features, and prices of multiple variants have leaked online. Let’s take a look at all the available details of the iQOO Neo 7 5G, which would compete with the Realme 10 Pro+, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

iQOO Neo 7 5G Specs Leak: First Phone In India With Dimensity 8200 SoC

iQOO has confirmed that it will launch the Neo 7 5G in India on February 16, 2023, which is less than a week away. The Neo 7 5G is claimed to be the first Android smartphone in India to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

Incidentally, MediaTek announced the Dimensity 8200 chipset recently. The SoC sits below the Dimensity 9200 but is still a flagship-grade chipset. The upcoming Vivo V27 Pro Android smartphone is believed to be powered by this SoC.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G recently surfaced on the AnTuTu website. The phone scored better than the Dimensity 8100 SoC and the Snapdragon 870 SoC in the synthetic benchmark tests.

The Neo 7 5G should have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is rumored to be flat with a hole punch cutout at the top center to house a 16MP front-facing camera.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G will have an upgraded battery and charging technology. Some reports suggest the smartphone will pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging.

The iQOO smartphone should be a successor to the Neo 6 5G which launched last year. The Neo 7 5G should be available in two RAM + Storage options. The base model could have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. iQOO is expected to offer a higher-end variant of the Neo 7 5G with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G should feature a triple camera setup on the back, headlined possibly by a 64MP primary camera, which could be paired with a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone should run on the latest Android 13 update out of the box, with a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top.

The Neo 7 5G 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant would be launched in India for ₹34,999, claims a new leak about the smartphone. The 12GB RAM variant of the Neo 6 5G launched at a sticker price of ₹33,999.

The leak suggests there would be a cashback offer of ₹4,000. Coupled with discounts from participating banks, the price of the iQOO Neo 7 5G could effectively fall below the ₹30,000 mark. At this price, the smartphone should compete with the recently launched Realme 10 Pro+, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
