Infinix Smart 7 to Launch in India on February 22: Specifications, Price

The Infinix Smart 7, the company’s budget phone, is set to launch in India on February 22, 2023. The device has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen and runs Android 12 out of the box. The smartphone will arrive as a successor to the Infinix Smart 6 which was launched in India last year. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Infinix Smart 7:

Infinix Smart 7: Features

The Infinix Smart 7 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen. The display has an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and 400 nits of peak brightness.

The budget smartphone will come with support for 4GB RAM and 3GB virtual RAM. The Smart 7 will include 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The handset will reportedly pack a 6,000mAh battery. It will run Android 12 out of the box with a layer of XOS 12 on top.

When it comes to the imaging capabilities, the Infinix Smart 7 will feature a dual camera setup at the rear. The smartphone has a square camera module at the back, which houses two camera sensors, a fingerprint scanner, and an LED flash. The handset has a 13MP primary sensor as well as a 0.3MP depth sensor. The camera module supports up to 1080p videos at 30fps. At the front, the smartphone sports a 5MP camera for selfies.

As for the design, the Infinix Smart 7 features a wave pattern design. It has a Silver-ion spray on top, which is reported to have a 99 percent antibacterial rating. The smartphone sports a flat frame design and flaunts a large camera module at the rear. It also has a fingerprint scanner with support for AI face unlock at the back. The budget-friendly smartphone has a waterdrop notch at the front which houses the selfie camera.

Infinix states that the Smart 7 will be priced under ₹7,500 in India. At this price point, the handset will likely challenge budget smartphones such as the Moto E22s, Realme C33, Infinix Note 12, and more.
