The Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested two “members” of the banned Widespread Entrance of India (PFI) who have been booked below the stringent Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act, officers mentioned. A senior police officer mentioned the 2 accused — Israr Ali Khan and Mohd Samoon, alleged to be PFI activists — have been arrested from their homes in Khajuri Khas and Chand Bagh.

The arrests come a day after an FIR was registered towards the 2 below Indian Penal Code sections 120 B (legal conspiracy) and 153 A (selling enmity between totally different teams), together with sections of the Illegal Actions (Prevention) Act on the Khajuri Khas police station, for allegedly planning and conspiring towards the federal government and the nation.

That is the second case registered below the UAPA towards the PFI members within the nationwide capital. Earlier, 4 folks allegedly linked to the outfit have been arrested by Delhi Police below the Act.

The Centre banned the PFI on September 28. Subsequently, the Delhi Police carried out raids at PFI models in six districts of town and detained 33 folks allegedly linked with the group.
