Bharti Airtel Ltd, India’s No.2 telecom service by subscribers, reported a close to 22% rise in second-quarter income on Monday, helped by 4G subscriber additions.

The corporate’s consolidated income from operations was 345.27 billion Indian rupees ($4.17 billion) for the three months ended Sept. 30, in contrast with 283.26 billion rupees a 12 months in the past.

Analysts, on common, have been anticipating income of 339.21 billion rupees, in line with Refinitiv IBES information.
